A 3-storey bakery outlet named ‘Khari’ is located in RK Puram sector of Kota City. It operates a bakery on the ground floor, light food items on the mezzanine floor and a small banquet hall meeting the need of eight people to eat on each table with an outdoor dining area on the second floor. The designer gives a European style to its elevation consisting of two large arches. On the ground floor, triangular mosaic flooring and stacked wall tile were brought together with a fish-scale tiled cash counter. It creates fascinating contrasts between architecture and craftsmanship The second floor lets the sunlight in by using a large arched window. The outdoor area draws the landscape on the wall facade Checkerboard flooring creates stunning visual looks to the space. Cool colours used on the walls emphasise certain elements on individual walls and the space’s light atmosphere makes people calm and relaxed. A cosy interior that encourages you to sit inside a little longer than usual.
